Nicole Metz has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, working with Fortune 500 companies and small government contractors, and has led her own consulting firm for eight years. She served as Senior Director of Talent Management Intelligence Group for a corporation in Chantilly, Virginia, where she worked closely with senior executives on both talent management and business priorities. Her work included coaching, career development, new manager assimilation, succession planning, redeployment, personnel development, and diversity and inclusion.

She contributed to performance management by setting goals, evaluating results, and supporting organizational design. She also shaped proposals, developed capabilities, managed employee relations, and oversaw reporting, metrics, redeployment, and Reductions-in-Force. She directed a team of staffing and talent managers and created the company’s first redeployment guide, which was recognized as a valuable tool for employees seeking new opportunities.

Before this role, she spent eight years with a corporation in McLean, Virginia, starting as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and later serving as Director of Talent Development & Management. She was responsible for developing program managers and IT professionals for intelligence programs, providing program management training across the organization, and was recognized with President’s Club honors for three consecutive years.

Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions with a communications company in Reston, Virginia, and a technology firm in Germantown, Maryland. She began her career at a global corporation in Federal Sales. She later transitioned into training, where she taught over 750 representatives, achieving 100% student satisfaction for two consecutive years and training top performers. She went on to become Sales Training Program Manager and contributed as a member of the People Development Board, supporting professional development and employee coaching.

Her career achievements include the Aspire Award, Business Unit General Managers Award, People First Award, Strategic Vision Award, recognition as an Outstanding Performer, and five President’s Club awards.

She is a member of SHRM and ASTD and has volunteered in youth sports, church activities, STEM initiatives, and as a driver for cancer patients. A former competitive athlete, she graduated with honors from Marymount University. She enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and time with her husband, a service-disabled veteran, and their four children.
