Nicole Metz is a human resources and talent management executive with more than thirty years of experience across enterprise, mid-market, and government contracting organizations. Her expertise includes sales training, human resources leadership, learning and development, and executive talent strategy.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Business Administration from Marymount University with honors.

Nicole Metz began her career at Xerox Corporation in federal account sales before transitioning into sales training as a Sales Training Specialist. In this role, she trained hundreds of newly hired sales representatives and became certified across the company’s complete sales training curriculum. She later advanced to Sales Training Program Manager, where she developed training leaders and contributed to the Xerox People Development Board.

She moved into human resources leadership at Nextel Communications as Senior Manager of Human Resource Development. Later, at ACTERNA Corporation, she held leadership roles in national logistics, administration, and global services and solutions education.

She spent approximately eight years at Science Applications International Corporation, joining as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and later serving as Director of Talent Development and Management. She led initiatives focused on developing program managers and information technology professionals, delivering enterprise-wide program management training, and strengthening organizational capability. She received the company’s People First Award, selected from a workforce of approximately fifteen thousand employees.

Nicole Metz later served as Senior Director of Talent Management for the Intelligence Group at TASC Corporation, partnering with executives and business leaders on succession planning, organizational design, executive coaching, new manager assimilation, workforce metrics, and employee transition strategies. She created the company’s first redeployment guide to support employees navigating career transitions.

She has also led her own consulting practice, advising Fortune 500 organizations and government contractors on talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.

Her areas of focus include talent management strategy, succession planning, organizational design, executive coaching, learning and development, program management training, employee relations, workforce analytics, and transition planning.

Professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association for Talent Development.

Her recognition includes President’s Club honors for sales performance, the People First Award, Strategic Vision Award, an enterprise operating excellence award, and a business unit general manager’s award for outstanding team performance.
