  7. PRE-PRODUCTION: Development Tools for project mango were started before the

    project , tested and refined in production : -Brecht Van Lommel develops Cycles. (Complete , modern rewrite of render engine) -Kier Merle develops Libmv, CERES (libmv = OSS library for tracking) -Sergey Sharybin integrates Libmv in Blender (during gsoc 2011)
  8. PRE-PRODUCTION: Development Tools for project mango were started before the

    project , tested and refined in production : -Jeroen Bakker rewrites compositor (tiles) (crowdfunded) -Sergey Sharybin and Campbell Barton develop masking tools.
  9. PRE-PRODUCTION: Kick-off workshop 1st week of production : make a

    movie* in 5 days. *...a short , test-movie , that is.
