New Testament Christian Churches of America

The New Testament Christian Churches of America (NTCC) is a fellowship centered on Christ and devoted to sharing the truth of the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Founded on the belief that Scripture is the inspired Word of God, NTCC has grown from a small circle of believers into a worldwide church body. Since its start in 1969, the mission has remained consistent: to preach the Word, baptize new believers, disciple followers of Christ, and prepare leaders for lasting service.

The history of NTCC goes back to October 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri, where Christians came together to form the New Testament Church of God. With a strong desire to spread the life-changing message of the Bible, the church began to grow steadily. In 1984, the fellowship formally reorganized and became known as the New Testament Christian Churches of America, reflecting its broader mission and expanding reach across the country. From the outset, the focus has been on building Bible-based communities and guiding believers to deepen their walk with God.

Today, NTCC oversees more than 100 churches both in the United States and abroad. Its work is clear and purposeful: to bring the light of Christ, baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and develop strong disciples of faith. Church planting continues to be an essential part of this mission, ensuring that communities in cities and remote areas alike have access to the message of salvation.

NTCC also emphasizes the training of men and women for ministry. Through seminary programs, the fellowship provides both biblical teaching and practical pastoral training. These programs highlight the authority of Scripture, the importance of living a Christ-centered life, and the need to serve with compassion. Many graduates take their training into NTCC congregations or mission fields worldwide, extending the church's work through strong and faithful leadership.

Key milestones include the celebration of NTCC’s 50th anniversary in 2019, marking five decades of growth and service. The fellowship has been actively ministering to U.S. military members and their families, offering chaplaincy and spiritual care both at home and abroad. Internationally, missions have been established in places such as the Philippines and Panama, where the Gospel continues to reach new communities.

NTCC is also engaged in outreach at the local level. Congregations regularly participate in initiatives such as food assistance, youth mentoring, and family support programs. These ministries reflect the church’s commitment to living out the teachings of Christ in practical ways. Across the United States, NTCC churches welcome people from all walks of life, offering worship, fellowship, and spiritual guidance.

A board of directors leads the fellowship and gives local congregations a measure of self-governance. This structure allows unity of mission while providing flexibility for local needs. Leadership is grounded in biblical principles, with an emphasis on accountability and integrity, to ensure the mission is carried out faithfully.

In recent years, NTCC has also embraced digital outreach. Through platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and X, the fellowship shares sermons, devotionals, and messages of encouragement with people worldwide. By making use of technology, NTCC extends its mission beyond traditional walls and continues to share the Gospel in ways that reach the modern generation.
