Olivet University

Olivet University is a private Christian institution committed to preparing students for purposeful lives of ministry, leadership, and service. Established in 2000 as the Olivet Theological College & Seminary (OTCS), the university began with a vision to train men and women for global missions through academic study and spiritual formation. OTCS offered both in-person and distance learning opportunities for students worldwide who sought to serve God in their respective callings.

In 2004, under the guidance of the late Dr. Ralph D. Winter, the seminary was reorganized into Olivet University. This transformation marked a new chapter of growth, with an expanded focus on integrating biblical faith, intellectual pursuit, and practical experience. Olivet continues to uphold this mission by educating servant-leaders who combine academic understanding with a strong spiritual foundation.

The main campus, located in the serene Anza Valley of California, provides an ideal environment for study, reflection, and worship. Surrounded by nature, students are encouraged to grow spiritually and academically while discovering their purpose in God’s plan. Beyond Anza, Olivet has expanded its presence to major cities, including Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, St. Louis, Orlando, Nashville, and Washington, D.C., thereby broadening its impact and accessibility.

At Olivet University, faith and daily life are deeply connected. Students gather regularly for chapel, prayer meetings, and small group Bible studies, fostering a community rooted in shared faith and fellowship. Service is also a core part of the Olivet experience. Students actively participate in community outreach programs, charity events, and mission projects, applying the Christian values they learn in the classroom.

Faculty members at Olivet serve not only as educators but as mentors, guiding students through academic challenges while helping them grow spiritually. Guest speakers and alums frequently visit to share insights from their ministry and professional experiences, creating a bridge between academic learning and real-world application.
