  1. Why Apple Watch will fail! • Lacks a defining, must-have

feature • Needs an iPhone • People don’t wear watches anymore • It’s yet another gadget to carry • Too expensive • Battery life • Curse of the first version • Design
  2. Broadcom BCM4334 • Single-chip dual-band combo • Combines 802.11 a/b/g/n

with Bluetooth 4.0 and an integrated FM radio receiver • Designed for minimal power consumption in a compact size • Already used on iPhone and iPad
  3. Connectivity • “The Apple Watch communicates with a user’s iPhone

via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which means that it can operate with an iPhone at any distance as long as they are on the same wireless network — otherwise, the smartwatch will need to be in Bluetooth-range of an iPhone to have full capability.”
  4. Security • The watch senses when you put it on

and then asks for authentication, either by supplying a fingerprint on the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus or by entering a PIN code in the phone’s app or on the watch itself. • As soon as the watch detects that you’ve removed it, Apple Pay locks up, requiring you to re-authenticate to re-activate it.
