Patrick Walsh is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and executive based in Palm Beach County, Florida. He is the founder and CEO of PW Partners, a value-oriented investment firm established in 2012 to support the growth and performance of small- and mid-cap companies. Known for his strategic leadership and operational expertise, Walsh has earned recognition across the investment community, with his work and insights featured in publications such as Forbes, Barron’s, and The Wall Street Journal.

Through PW Partners, Patrick Walsh leads initiatives focused on capital allocation, operational improvement, and long-term value creation. His background includes extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, hedge funds, and corporate finance. Over the years, he has worked with businesses across the restaurant, hospitality, and fitness industries, including Famous Dave’s of America, Town Sports International, and TMPL, helping organizations strengthen operations and improve market positioning.

In addition to leading PW Partners, Walsh serves as CEO of Empire Holdings and Investments, a diversified holding company headquartered in Florida. Since joining the organization in 2020, he has overseen investment activity across multiple industries while guiding strategic development and growth initiatives. His leadership approach combines disciplined financial planning with practical business execution, enabling companies to adapt to changing markets and pursue sustainable, long-term success.

Walsh began his professional career in finance at Prudential Capital Group and Prudential Securities, where he specialized in commercial real estate and publicly traded real estate investment trusts. He later joined Deutsche Bank as vice president of investment banking before moving into hedge fund investing and private equity leadership roles. After gaining years of industry experience, he relocated to Florida and established PW Partners to pursue an independent investment strategy built on long-term value and operational improvement.

Academically, Walsh first attended Wesleyan University, where he studied economics and competed in both baseball and football. Following a back injury that ended his athletic career, he transferred to Boston College and graduated with honors in accountancy. He later continued his investment education at Columbia University. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, further strengthening his expertise in valuation, portfolio management, and corporate strategy under the guidance of respected industry leaders.

Throughout his career, Patrick Walsh, TMPL, has served on the boards of several recognized companies, including BJ’s Restaurants and Del Taco Restaurants. Nation’s Restaurant News included him in its annual Power List for his influence within the restaurant industry. Outside of business, he enjoys fitness, cooking, travel, and literature. Born in San Diego and raised in Boston, Walsh now lives in Jupiter, Florida, where he continues to lead investment and business initiatives nationwide.
