1 T A B L E S Previous Screen CALLOUTS TABLE DEFINITIONS Callouts provide further description for a particular item on a wireframe. In most cases, the callout specifies the next screen to be shown when the user interacts with the item (e.g. M11 or Previous Screen). Table definitions are provided on the right side of each page in which a table occurs. These definitions list column names, column types (denoted by color), actions (and their corresponding responses), and, in some cases, additional information such as which screen is shown when the Add button is pressed. If a table definition lists “Flash” as an action response, that row displays a Flash Status as shown in A1. Otherwise, the callout may reference a specific table definition or note to be found on the right side of the page. Red Column Names denote required columns. These columns are shown by default for that table and cannot have their visibility toggled. Black Column Names denote regular columns. These columns are shown by default for that table and may have their visibility toggled. Grey Column Names denote hidden columns. These columns are not shown by default for that table and may have their visibility toggled. 1. COLUMNS: ID, Name, User, Host, Image, Size, Security Groups, IPs, Volumes, Uptime, State, Actions. ACTIONS: Attach (M12)/Detach (Flash), Delete (M10). 2. COLUMNS: ID, Name, Size, Actions. ACTIONS: Attach (M12)/Detach( (Flash), Delete (M10). ADD: M11.

If more than one action exists for an item, the most-used action is shown as a command and the rest appear in a More Menu in the Actions column. When a checkbox is checked, the Batch Actions bar appears, displaying any actions that may be taken on the selected item/items. If no actions can be applied to the selected item/items, the Batch Actions bar instead shows, “No actions can be taken on the selected items.” Performing a non-destructive action (e.g. disable) maintains selection. Performing a destructive action (e.g. delete) removes the Batch Action bar as no items will remain selected. Selection of the ‘X’ button in a column header hides that column. Column visibility can be toggled in the M2 Table Options modal. Required columns do not show the ‘X’ button as they cannot be hidden.

Clicking on the right portion of the field (the dropdown arrow) functions like a normal dropdown menu. Clicking the left portion of the field selects all text in the control – entering text selects the closest value and performs an autocomplete on the typed characters. The Multiple Selection Long List control uses a field to display the currently selected values. Selecting this control launches a modal containing a long list (with already selected values pre-selected) and a search field. Clicking an item selects/deselects that item. Entering characters in the search field filters the list. While list is being filtered, the top row is used to display the number of search results and the number of hidden selected values.
