His duties included supporting scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination, preparing and reviewing subcontracts, RFIs, and RFCOs, performing quantity takeoffs, and assisting in bid preparation for projects ranging from $500,000 to $20 million.
Earlier in his career, during a Field Engineer Internship with Motor City Electric in Dearborn, he contributed to operations at the Ford Truck Plant by designing cable tray systems, creating wire tags, reviewing diagrams, and working with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment.
In his senior year at Wayne State, he was part of the winning team in the Electrical Contracting Innovation Challenge, the first such achievement for the university. Outside of his professional work, Paul Wiedmaier volunteers at Holy Family Parish in Novi, Michigan, stays active, enjoys golf, traveling, and reading, and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, holding dual citizenship in the United States and Brazil.
