Perry Greene is the President of Taylor Commercial, Inc., one of the largest siding contractors in the United States. Under his leadership, the company has grown to serve the Southeastern region, where it manages major construction and renovation projects in key markets. Taylor Commercial has completed over 25 renovations of low-income housing and condominium communities, demonstrating a commitment to both business success and community improvement.

Perry Clarke Greene was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and spent his early years in Athens, where his father served as a minister at the Church of Christ campus. His family moved frequently during his childhood, living in places such as Memphis, Escondido, California, Gainesville, Florida, and later Riverdale, Georgia, where he settled by the eighth grade. Despite the frequent changes in his location, he remained focused on working hard and overcoming challenges. From an early age, he showed determination, responsibility, and discipline that would shape his future path.

At nine years old, Greene started cutting lawns and collecting cans to earn extra money. By twelve, he helped his family deliver 500 newspapers every morning before going to school. At fifteen, he worked with a business leader to help open the first Chick-fil-A Dwarf House locations in Riverdale and Jonesboro. When disciplined, instead of typical punishments, he was given books about rental properties and sales strategies, which helped inspire his interest in business, personal growth, and financial independence.

In high school, Perry earned All-State and All-Region honors as a baseball player. He studied accounting and played baseball for two years at Southern Union Junior College. When his goal of playing professional baseball shifted, he turned his focus to attending the University of Georgia. To support his education, he joined the Navy Reserve, serving in Hawaii and Thailand. He later participated at Harding University before transferring to the University of Georgia, where he earned a degree in Accounting in 1996. That same year, he passed the CPA exam and started his career at Ernst & Young.

In 1998, Greene joined a family-owned construction business and became general manager within six months. In 1999, he moved to Taylor Commercial, Inc., leading the company from $600,000 to over $45 million in annual revenue. The company expanded into ten states, completing many siding installations and housing renovations. Taylor Commercial earned awards, including the 1993 Heartland Commercial Contractor of the Year, multiple honors from Norandex Reynolds, and recognition on the Inc. 5000 list in 2013. Beyond his business endeavors, he supported community efforts by donating materials for a Vietnam War memorial and assisting with local projects. Perry Greene continues to focus on personal goals, mentoring, writing a book for homeowners, and spending meaningful time with his children and partner.
