  1. The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful

man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord caused all that he did to succeed in his hands. So Joseph found favor in his sight and attended him, and he made him overseer of his house and put him in charge of all that he had. Genesis 39:2-4 (NLT)
  2. But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast

love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison put Joseph in charge of all the prisoners who were in the prison. Whatever was done there, he was the one who did it. The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph's charge, because the Lord was with him. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed. Genesis 39:21-23 (NLT)
  3. So the Lord said, “I will blot out man whom

I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:7-8 (NLT)
  4. As for you, you meant evil against me, but God

meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. Genesis 50:20 (NLT)
  5. And we know that for those who love God all

things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (NLT)
  6. 'Trusting God involves not trying to BE more, HAVE more,

or DO more than God has given you to do’ Peter Scazerro
  7. But now thus says the Lord, he who created you,

O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Isaiah 43:1-3 (NLT)
  8. His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful

servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:23 (NLT)
  9. Now it is required that those who have been given

a trust must prove faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2 (NLT)
