A young Gorgon loses herself after being bullied by her
peers. Frustrated she sheds the parts of herself that she hates in order to become like everyone else. However, her decision will risk her own self-destruction.
Loneliness and Snakes. Both Can Kill.
Her story can wring tears out of a stone.
A short film for young adult audiences (14+)
Beat Boards
Once upon a time, there was a young gorgon named
Medusa who nervously attended Olympus Middle School.
And every day, she got bullied…
…ignored….
…and felt utterly alone.
But no matter how much it hurt, Medusa’s snakes always
loved her.
Until one day, Medusa read malicious gossip on Twitter that
said: “if you look at this ugly bitch, you’ll turn to stone.”
Out of frustration, Medusa yelled at her snakes and blamed
them for everything.
So she rips out the snakes from her head in
the bathroom.
And became like everyone else.

The next day, Medusas new appearance stunned everyone.
Feeling validated, Medusa smiled brightly as she sat on the
school bus heading home.
Until she saw a terrible vision of her past on
the window.
She tried to ignore the vision, but it followed her
with nobody noticing.
And she ran

Until she was forced to face her trauma.
