Robert Parrinelli

Robert Parrinelli is a New York trial attorney and managing partner at Appell & Parrinelli, where he has devoted more than 20 years to personal injury, construction accidents, medical malpractice, and wrongful death litigation. Throughout his career, he has represented thousands of clients and secured numerous multi-million-dollar results through steady preparation and careful advocacy.

He grew up in the greater New York metropolitan area and later attended Hofstra University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management in 2000. During his time there, he played on the Men’s Division I Lacrosse Team and served as team captain during his senior year. That same season, he was selected to compete in the U.S.I.L.A. North-South All-Star Game, an honor recognizing leading collegiate players. After completing his undergraduate studies, he continued at Hofstra University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2003.

Following admission to the New York State Bar in 2004, Robert began his legal career in New York City as an associate trial attorney under the guidance of his mentor. Their years of work together later led to the establishment of Appell & Parrinelli, where he became a named and managing partner.

In this role, he oversees a practice dedicated to individuals and families facing serious injuries or losses. His work includes motor vehicle accidents, construction and worksite incidents, premises liability, defective products, wrongful death, commercial property disputes, and medical malpractice claims. He accepts cases selectively so he can remain closely involved and ensure each matter receives the attention it requires.

Robert's firm has achieved several notable outcomes, including $6.5 million for a child injured by a defective radiator, a $6.3 million verdict related to a contaminated food product, construction accident results of $3.3 million and $3.1 million, a $2.7 million medical malpractice outcome involving a missed cardiac arrest diagnosis, and additional settlements of $3.1 million in a premises case and $2.3 million in a motor vehicle accident.

His experience also includes matters involving toxic exposure, lead poisoning, labor discrimination, sexual harassment, and defamation. He is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Outside the courtroom, he mentors young attorneys, coaches youth lacrosse, supports charitable efforts, completed the New York City Marathon for a spinal cord injury foundation, and remains active in community programs. As a father of four, he continues to balance family, fitness, and professional responsibilities—priorities that remain central to Robert Parrinelli's work and life.
