  1. The main image usually corresponds with the image on the

    front cover of the magazine; often with direct address, so that a consumer knows that that particular artist is the focus of the issue. The colours normally follow the house style of the magazine, and the magazine featured here, Q, has a clear house style of red, white, and black. They may also give the audience an idea of what genre the magazine focuses on. A brief preview of what the article will be about; anchors to the main image. The contents page will be arranged in 2-4 columns*; here we see 3. (Industry Standard)* Categories are used to allow the reader to find the content they want quickly. Also advertises artists so a reader can quickly see if their is something they would like to read first. Font is clear and easy to read; follows the branding of the magazine.
