Pong! The first commercially successful video game !
Pong! Ted Dabney, Nolan Bushnell, Fred Marincic, and Al Alcorn
– before Steve Jobs stole their shit !
Pong! Pong was cool. Except you needed a friend to
play it… So obvi not many developers at the time could play it !
Breakout ! Breakout was the solution to that problem. Single
player hell yeah! !
Breakout ! • Released in 1976 for the arcade.
• Concept by Nolan Bushnell and Steve Bristow, designed by Steve Wozniak • Created for Atari Inc.
Breakout ! Steve Jobs also got in on the fun.
SPACE INVADERS! Breakout laid the foundaGon for space invaders and
all subsequent acGon video games/compuGng in general. Badass.
