Samvara (b. Geoff Malone) is a global humanitarian, Buddhist monk, and author of "The Enlightenment Workbook of Buddhist Mysticism". He has also co-authored "Enlightened Pregnancy: Connecting with Your Baby Spiritually".
His past philanthropic contributions have included supporting Maiti Nepal / Friends of Maiti Nepal, Mahadeva Malai Temple in Indiana, Arunachula Animal Center, and other groups seeking to improve the lives of underserved populations.
Though now retired from teaching instruction, Ajahn (sometimes also misspelled Ajhan) Samvara’s teachings focused on authentic Buddhist practices. As of 2023, he has stepped back from teaching meditation mindfulness, karma yoga, and bodhicitta (compassion) to fully focus on peace activism and global humanitarian work, sharing the Buddhist wisdom and compassion that he's cultivated throughout his career and personal life.
