    solving a problem or meeting a need? Are we taking action or creating an opportunity?
  3. WHO? Who is the intended user group? What are their

    usability needs? Who will we test our product with before release?
  4. HOW? How do we determine the best platform? Is this

    a major change or a change in usage? How is this product going to best be used?
  5. WHAT? What are the key features of this product? How

    do we maintain our usability? What do we build to keep our product’s story consistent with our core vision?

  7. Alphabet What?! Rules • You must choose one letter of

    the alphabet to begin the first sentence. Each following sentence will begin with the next sequential letter of the alphabet. • If you get stuck, you do not lose the exercise. You just have to be more creative than you originally expected. And dance. Dancing helps with nerves. • Each person says only one sentence, and in their turn. You can help your neighbor, but only if they ask. Don't butt in when they may just be thinking critically about the best sentence for the product. • Each sentence must in some way be about the following subjects: a. The inspiration behind your product. b. The product's intended users c. The platform of the product d. The design of the product itself • Record these sentences. They will be very valuable as reference points throughout the development process.
