Public Distribution 2 •  We are Ocean Thermal Energy Corporation (OTE), a USA-based renewable power generation company that can produce energy and air conditioning in an environmentally friendly way by converting the natural temperature differential of the ocean into base-load (24/7) electricity and using the cold seawater for cooling of large buildings and structures •  The technology can also produce significant amounts of drinkable water and opportunities for sustainable food production •  Our proven methods include: •  Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC). Produces electricity from the ocean without the use of fossil fuels •  Seawater District Cooling (SDC). Uses the virtually unlimited natural resource of deep ocean water to produce air conditioning without the use of chemicals. When compared to traditional systems, SDC reduces the consumption of electricity by about 90% Who We Are

Public Distribution 8 Pipes Heat Exchangers Turbine & Generator Thermal Cycle - Rankine Cycle OTEC converts the heat from the ocean into electricity without the use of fossil fuel. OTE has MoUs to build, own and operate multiple OTEC plants around the world. OTEC systems use the Rankine cycle. The Rankine cycle was invented in the 1850s. It is a cycle that converts heat into work. The heat is supplied externally to a closed loop, which usually uses water. This cycle generates about 90% of all electric power used throughout the USA, including virtually all solar thermal, biomass, coal, and nuclear power plants. + + OTEC Uses a Basic Energy Concept

Public Distribution 11 Seawater District Cooling (SDC) SDC systems can save up to 90% in electricity costs when compared to traditional air conditioning systems. SDC systems range in size from 400 to 80,000 tons of cooling capacity and use millions of gallons of seawater. Once the seawater has been used for air conditioning it can be desalinated for potable water
