  1. Recap • 53,000 Attendees (Last Singapore Summit was 7000) •

2,300 Breakout Sessions ◦ Keynotes ◦ Sessions ◦ Chalk Talks ◦ Workshops ◦ Builders Session • Lots of Peripheral Activities ◦ Quad and Expo ◦ Tatonka Challenge ◦ Hackathons ◦ Morning Runs ◦ Bootcamps, Certifications ◦ Pub Crawl & re:PLAY
  2. My Thoughts & Rants • Conference was too short (4.5

days). Need to prioritize and learn to make hard sacrifices • Limited slots for most sessions • Lots of queuing / walking • Conference ticket and travel = $$$$ • Domestic US luggage allowance #$$^#^%^@& - Max 50 lbs per luggage
  3. Tips • It’s always better with friends! • Plan ahead

and reserve sessions using the reinvent catalog / map • Turn up for your reserved sessions early • Avoid going to anything which will be on Youtube (keynotes / sessions) • Go for chalk talks / workshops (especially the 300 and 400s) • Plan sessions within the same venue on same days and avoid travelling • Be in the walk-in queue at least 1.5 hrs for popular sessions and 1 hr for normal sessions
  4. Tips • Always queue for the hardware announcements workshops •

Expo has a lot of swag and all the partners / vendors! • Go for peripheral events • Make sure to do sufficient meaningful networking • Make sure to get yourself sponsored in anyway possible • Book everything early - hotel / flight etc
