Teddy Teece serves as the Managing Partner of an investment firm that connects international capital with New Zealand’s light industrial sector. His professional experience includes entrepreneurship, investing, philanthropy, finance, technology, executive coaching, and real estate. Across these areas, he has worked to create long-term value while keeping financial goals, purpose, service, and environmental responsibility aligned.
Teddy's family connection to New Zealand spans five generations, while his early life across two hemispheres and coasts helped shape an international outlook. In his current work, he supports long-term, lifestyle-oriented investors who seek financial returns while building stronger economic, environmental, and infrastructure ties to New Zealand.
As founder and managing partner, Teddy oversees acquisition strategies across the country’s “golden triangle,” focusing on light industrial businesses. His firm looks for established companies that contribute to national infrastructure. He also works with families and investors interested in residency and making meaningful contributions to the local economy.
During his first year in an Executive MBA program, Teddy developed the firm’s business plan and investment thesis. The approach combines private equity and search fund methods with local partnerships, community events, and philanthropic opportunities. Earlier in his career, he helped build an investment bank that processed eight- and nine-figure transactions. He also co-founded a marketplace for unique experiences. He later helped establish a family business consulting service for executives, business families, and next-generation leaders across the United States, the Middle East, and New Zealand.
Outside his business activities, Teddy has developed a nonprofit and executive retreat destination near Boulder, Colorado, centered on reflection, wellness, connection, and community. He has helped build features on the forty-acre property and has led teams as a general contractor. Since 2017, he has supported Navy SEAL families and helped raise six- and seven-figure sums for charitable causes.
Teddy Teece is an Executive MBA candidate who continues to work with a New Zealand-based team while supporting charitable organizations, working the land, writing, drumming, and pursuing long-term efforts related to service, mental health, resilience, community, and lasting partnerships.
