1. Introduction to Cloudflare
2. Today I want to introduce a company called Cloudflare.
3. What is Cloudflare? If you make services, three major ways are available. AWS: Amazon Web Service GCP: Google Cloud Platform Microsoft Azure Cloudflare can be used as a new way.
4. Cloudflare has Some Unique Services 1. Cloudflare Worker: FaaS to run on CDN Edge 2. Cloudflare R2: Storage spread over CDN Edge 3. Cloudflare D1: SQLite spread over CDN Edge These can take benefit of CDN Edge.
5. What is CDN Edge Server? CDN Edge: A computer at edge of network. Edge Computing: Distribute servers near users to reduce latency and bandwidth
6. What is CDN ? (Content Delivery Network) Communication 2 cities apart is costly because far away. CDN solves it by distributing servers
7. What is Durable Objects? Code and database objects are moved to highly accessed areas. The "origin server" will not be needed.
8. Why use CDN Edge？ 1. User loading is shorter due to close to server. 2. Costs are cut due to reduced data volume. 3. Much traffic is handled by distributed servers. 4. Security is improved against DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service), etc.
