I started by cutting letters out of paper the way
children would.
None
A cut out style would work on any background color.

That leads to smaller variations.

And an even smaller version.

There are still a ton of unanswered logo and brand
questions that we’ll have to explore. But I ran with this to see where it would lead.
First, the “hero image.” The main call to action.
None
Also works in multiple colors.

None
The promotion would change as needed.
INSERT TURKEY TROT HERO
As for the rest of the site, let’s zoom out
to get a feel for the whole thing.

Module Module Quote / Testimonial
Each module works on a dark & light background. And
will have a custom, isolated design.
None

Next up, how would a secondary page look?
None
Donate moved to top left. Each sub page has a
real image. Optional call to action.
All relevant content for the sub page.
Followed by related modules.
Finally, long-form content.
None
Would follow the same rules. Just fewer modules at the
end.
Have a look at all 3 zoomed out. Get a
feel for the brand and determine if you like it.
None
Now, everything that you’ve seen is using placeholder content. It’s
not pixel perfect. Ignore colors, fonts, spacing issues.
With that in mind. 1. Do you like the brand?
2. Do you like the layout?
If not, that’s OK. We’ll revisit together.
If yes, then I’ll start a polish pass and refine
these concepts.
