  6. Critique of Binary Gamers - What’s good about the app?

    - Consistent styling and interface, very tight - Welcoming splash screen - I LOVE VIDEO GAME TRIVIA - What did we learn from using the app? - Live filtering through AngularJS - The highest rated game is from the 80s - What could be improved about the app - Put more entries per page, pagination has few entries - Missing padding on the sides of the main body, other places - Filter doesn’t highlight like search does - Puzzling aspects - Why use Year as a major UML class instead of Genre? - Where’s Halo???
  7. Our own critique - What’s good about our app -

Fast and responsive - Consistent appealing design - Searching data is flexible and intuitive - What did we learn from creating the app - Docker (well… sort of) - Python Flask application - Website design (HTML/CSS) - RESTful API design - Indexing data in order to search it - What could be improved about our app - Needs more entries for the models to reflect the large amount of food in Austin - Could use more images for each restaurant - Table do not scale down in mobile mode - Puzzling aspect(s) - Docker - Carina - Whoosh indexing
