5. Personal Critique • What did we do well? ◦ Getting stuff done, despite difficulties meeting up at times ◦ About page tabs were a nice feature rather than having individual pages
6. Personal Critique • What did we learn? ◦ Web development requires constant incremental testing ◦ How incorporate a database into a website ◦ How to use javascript and jquery libraries to add functionality
7. Personal Critique • What can we do better? ◦ Splash page, it is not pretty at all ◦ Turn splash page images into hotspots ◦ Add more pizazz to the look of the website

Personal Critique • What puzzles us? ◦ Occasional bad gateway error appears, log states it’s an issue with remaining connection slots to our database being reserved for a non-replication superuser ◦ Many individuals say to setup a cron job that routinely clears up connections. This was discovered at the end and not sure we’d have enough time to debug it
9. Critique - digitalbinding.me • What did they do well? ◦ Tab icon is visually appealing and fits in with the theme of the splash page ◦ Quotes on the splash page were a nice touch
10. Critique - digitalbinding.me • What did we learn from their website? ◦ Overall search is actually really cool. If it could be presented without going to a separate page would make it very useful. Possible on the navigation bar
11. Critique - digitalbinding.me • What can they do better? ◦ Navigation could be better streamlined. Only tabs that remained consistent was the Home and About. Currently have to head back to home page in order to access books or publishers from the author page ◦ Add pagination and a way to search the table. Home Page Nav bar Other Page Nav bar
12. Critique - digitalbinding.me • What puzzles us about their website? ◦ The search tab lead to a new page. It did not what the terms that it could search were. ◦ The only way to see get to the page with the tables was from the splash page. No other place could get you to the tables.
