CRT is working to answer those questions and understanding how data from these devices can be applied to industry practices. This presentation provides an overview of what these different devices can do and what CRT is looking to do in the very near future.

  10. What can beacons do? o  Nothing, really. o  They broadcast

    a signal. o  Apps use them to: o  improve customer engagement. o  get instant feedback. o  help customers navigate a space.
  11. What devices work with them? o  Bluetooth 4.0 turned on

    o  iOS7 or Android 4.3 o  Must enable location services o  App installed to take advantage of the beacons You will not be tracked by beacons!!!
  12. It’s about behavior o  Understand what matters to customers o 

    Privacy!!! o  This is reliant on the app. Beacons do not track audience. o  App only knows who you are from information provided.
  13. What applications in real estate? o  Better data for open

    houses o  What rooms? o  How many people were in the home? o  How long did they stay? o  Better data on street traffic & people viewing from outside the home. o  Behavioral data from beacons could help REALTORS® better prep a property and make homes move faster by using data. o  Security. Beacons could know when agents are at a property.
