Private & Confidential - 4 - You will be responsible for development of the platform with the rest of the team including devising and adding innovative functionalities in the open source ecommerce platform, developing social network features, integration of video sharing, targeted marketing enablers and a host of other exciting features which will challenge you mentally and provide a great opportunity to contribute your creativity in developing a product from scratch. Web Platform Developer/ Programmer/Coders You will be responsible for developing algorithms to convert big data to useful information, machine learning interactions, learning from social online activity and analytics for recommendation engines. You will be responsible for front end design of the website, web layout, pioneer the look and feel of the website and integration of back-end with the web programmer. Private & Confidential - 5 - Defining Characteristics We Require  Ability to think and analyze situations logically and learn new concepts quickly  Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills  Good communication skills: Comfortable with explaining complicated models to a wide audience  A team player. Ability to brainstorm and enhance the learning experience  Doesn’t give up and has patience to get it right Web Platform Developer/ Programmer/Coders UI / UX- Front End Designer / Architect Data Scientist / Artificial Intelligence Geeks  Experience in Python/Django  Knowledge of SDLC, MVC frameworks  Knowledge of design patterns, developing rich web applications  Knowledge of RESTful web applications/APIs  Knowledge of distributed task queues, celery/huey  MySQL/PostgreSQL  Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3/Javascript/JQuery and good front end development practices  Familiarity with JSON/Jquery  Experience in Facebook/Google (OAuth+Social) APIs  Familiarity with open source e-commerce software - magento/zend or satchmo/satchless  Experience in recommendation/Machine learning algorithms or tools is a plus  Experience in Amazon EC2 deployment/ scaling/ management is a plus  Familiarity with Redis is a plus  Experience in HTML5/CSS3 is required  Knowledge of media queries, device independent frontends  Javascript, Jquery, backbone.js, prototype.js, modernizr  Familiarity with django templating  Fluency with at least one scripting language (Python or PHP)  Experience working with large data sets.
