2. ABOUT • The European Democracy Youth Network (EDYN) is a coalition of young civic and political leaders located in Central and Eastern Europe, united by the desire to empower new generations of change makers.
3. • In the face of rapid social and economic change in Europe, democracies are struggling. • Young civic and political leaders across Central and Eastern Europe must encourage their peers to play a more meaningful role in their democracy. ABOUT
4. • EDYN brings together young people, under 33 years old, who are committed to advancing and sustaining democratic values. • The Leadership Council, comprised of 10 young leaders from politics and civil society, help drive EDYN’s vision and goals. WHO ARE WE?

6. • Identifying the specific political and social needs of each member country. • Raising awareness of youth civic and political activity through a strong digital and social media presence • Developing national and transnational networks of partner organizations. • Supporting network members through practical professional development and leadership opportunities. • Connecting youth on the local, regional and transnational level to share experience, best practice and lessons learned.
