Pepsi ‘Crowd Surfing’ click to view Production designed a team of 20 VFX artists - spanning crowd specialists, nuke compositors, roto artists, and technical directors who worked across the production for four months to deliver the commercial’s demanding and complex VFX whilst meeting the clients’ high expectations. LG ‘Elephant’ click to view The three-part global campaign for LG’s Infinia TV featured CGI animals doing the impossible, like a elephant climbing a tree. Production coordinated a schedule to complete this extraordinary task within 5 weeks. THE WORK

Gravity click to view October will see the release of Oscar-nominated director Alfonso Cuarón’s heart-pounding space thriller , Gravity , starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. It’s Framestore’s most ambitious project to date.   6. PREVIS ANIMATICS Bringing vision to life Framestore joined forces with

    the Third Floor, the World’s pre-eminent previs specialists. Our previs artists collaborate closely with filmmakers to go beyond what storyboards can convey to bring the vision into 2D, before it’s ever been shot. Previs artist’s help directors envision how elements will look spatially and which cameras will be needed on set, bring- ing the scene to life. These detailed visualizations were used as a blueprint for the set construction, horse training and ultimate cinematic staging. GAME CHANGERS • Coca-Cola ‘Polar Bowl’ • McLaren ‘Tooned’ • British Airways ‘Taxi’ application Coca-Cola ‘Polar Bowl’ click to view A fully integrated campaign that brought the beloved Coke Polar Bears back to the screen using real time animation for the first time ever during the Super Bowl. 9 million screens tuned in to watch the bears watch the game, with 5,00 comments posted on Facebook and Twitter per minute. British Airways ‘Taxi’ Application click to view Our digital department created an App that lets users see a plane taxi down their own street by pulling data from Google Street View. It had 1.5 million unique users in its first month and it’s now hit more than 3 million unique visits. McLaren ‘Tooned’ click to view Tooned is an animated series created by Framestore in partnership with McLaren, starring the brand’s two British F1 drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton as themselves, alongside comedian Alexander Armstrong as Professor M. DRUM ROLL PLEASE • Coors Light ‘Launch Aluminium Pint’ • EA Need for Speed ‘Hot Pursuit’ • Qualcomm Snapdragon ‘Coming Soon’ Coors Light ‘Launch Aluminium Pint’ click to view Coors & Draftfcb asked Framestore to help tell the world about their new re-sealable wide mouth bottle Silver Bullet Aluminum Pint , with a spot that features a NASA-inspired rocket launch. Framestore, as always, was up to the challenge of directing and producing the spot. Qualcomm Snapdraon ‘Coming Soon’ click to view Framestore was approached by Ogilvy to direct the live action as well as the VFX on this ambitious project, which required the development of a completely new icon for the Snapdragon brand. EA Need for Speed ‘Hot Pursuit’ click to view Framestore’s, David Mellor has directed an action packed full CG trailer with world class supercars on a high speed chase for EA’s Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.   11. Aron has worked in every aspect of the industry from

    music videos and feature films (Contraband, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) to high profile spots (Mitsubishi ‘Robot Factory’, Cadbury ‘Joyville’, Pepsi ‘Beyonce: Mirrors’). He has collaborated with Directors from Spike Jones (short: I’m Here) to Michel Gondry - and worked with a spectrum of musical artists from the Black Eyed Peas to the White Stripes (‘Denial Twist’) to Radiohead. Aron has created cutting edge work across the globe and has been the central figure in establishing offices for Framestore, first in Iceland and now in Los Angeles. He has worked extensively with the teams in NY and London and is an integral part of the global creative team. Admittedly, he spent a brief time helping the Mill and Method establish their repu- tations in New York- but he’s back home now. Most recently, Aron led the team which was awarded Best Visual Effects at the Clio Awards 2013 for Nissan Altima “Wouldn’t It Be Cool”, Directed by Carl Rinsch/Home FX. His solid relationship with Carl was a key factor in realizing his creative vision. Aron is a multi-award winning veteran of the industry.
