5. Critiques of Our Website • What did we do well? - We have a functioning website and database. All parts of our website works. • What did we learn? - We learned how to create a front-end website with Flask, ReactJS. We learned backend w/ PostGreSQL. We learned how to deploy a website on GCP. • What can we do better? - We could have done a better UI on the front end with embedded videos. We could have made the tables in our three models look prettier. We also could have tried to find a better topic, because publisher and author APIs are nonexistent and we had to hardcode our own. • What puzzles us? - We are confused why our GCP credits run out so quick.
6. Critique of Group 9’s Website • What did they do well? - The overall theme and animations fit really well with the pets and is well integrated. • What did we learn from their website? - Having the right theme for the web applications is equally as important as having cool features and functionalities. • What can they do better? - Their API for individual dogs/cats only gives 20 responses (hard coded?). We’d like to be able to access all of the data in the database. • What puzzles us about their website? - The website does not lead to adoption organizations do not have link.
