This describes how to participate in a live tweetchat! Don't forget to use the hashtag #jamapedsjc !

2. What’s a Journal Club Tweetchat?
3. It’s a way for individuals across the globe to discuss scientific articles online and in real-time using Twitter
4. How do I participate in a Tweetchat?
5. Sign up for a Twitter account (check out our other slidedeck)
6. At the time and day of the Tweetchat, login to (1)  Twitter -or- (2) Tweetdeck
7. In your Twitter search box, type in hashtag #jamapedsjc
8. Then hit “All” to see all tweets with that hashtag
9. You can see the tweets here as they come in real-time; however, you will have to refresh the page every few seconds
10. To avoid having to refresh try signing up for Tweetdeck: https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/# You can sign in with your Twitter account
11. Hit the plus sign
12. Hit the search bar
13. Type in #jamapedsjc, hit return, and hit the “Add Column” button
14. Now every tweet with the hashtag #jamapedsjc will appear in your stream in real-time! Don’t forget to use the hashtag with every tweet so people can follow your tweets in the conversation! PS If you want to remove a column press this symbol on top right and press the “remove” button
