Laura Hamilton

I have a bachelor's in mathematics and economics (double major) from the University of Chicago, and I have a master's in computer science with specialization in machine learning from Georgia Tech.

I have more than 10 years of experience in ecommerce product management at four Chicago tech companies, from very early stage startups to publicly traded global companies. My specialty is creating new businesses and digital products from scratch and scaling them, both in startups and within larger organizations.

I am passionate about using data analytics and machine learning to create a delightful user experience, and I founded the Data-Driven Chicago event (a free data and machine learning mini-conference held here at Groupon).
