Hi! My name is Lincoln Adams and I've worked for over 20 years as an illustrator, storyboard artist and designer. My projects have included magazines, television shows, character design, book covers, and greeting cards for which I was selected to the 47th Annual Society of Illustrators West Show. I also held a one man show featuring my illustration work at Sally Otto Gallery at Mount Union University in 2019.

Animated shows I've worked on include: the upcoming Batwheels: Season 2, Curious George: Cape Ahoy (2021), Ron's Gone Wrong (2021), 100% Wolf, Henchmen, Motown Magic, Reboot: the Guardian Code, Hanazuki, Happos, Barbie Spysquad, Max Steel, Slugterra, Monster High, Veggie Tales and Doc McStuffins. Most recently I concluded work on the upcoming animated feature film, Minions 2: Rise of Gru and For Gunter's Eyes Only a short from Sing 2 advertising spots to be released by Illumination Animation.

I move fluidly back and forth between traditional, tactile mediums and digital mediums to execute ideas— often times incorporating both within a piece. A firm believer that the traditional informs the digital, I continue training and experimenting in both. My primary tactile mediums include oils, wax crayon and colored pencil, and monoprints. My digital expertise includes the use of the Cintiq via Photoshop and InDesign, and Storyboard Pro 5.5.

When not boarding, I teach as a Assistant Professor within the Animation department of the Cleveland Institute of Art while residing in the heart of the Cuyahoga National Forest in Peninsula, OH. Additionally, I maintain membership in the Animation Guild, Local 839.
