This sequence is from early in my board career, so it lacks some of the drawing appeal I would come to develop, but it's a good example of me breaking down a musical number, crafting the visual gags and underlying context of story within the lyrics.
In the final movie they changed the song completely and moved it to a new setting and placed it at the climax where it was a reveal in a confrontation between Pharoah and his disapproving mother. A good story choice— but I felt bad considering all the time went into crafting and staging the sequence. Ahh but that's show biz in the big city...
