  1. Money is Everything! • Before opening your bakery you have

to be thinking about how much it will cost. • For example: equipment, renovations, employees, baking items, rent, bills, and money you will need for other expenses that may come up while owning this bakery. These are just a few. • You have to make sure you are financially capable of doing these things because if not it will affect you and your bakery.
  2. Certifications! • There are several certifications you can receive, some

are certifications you need especially with owning your own bakery. Having these protects you and your customers. • Some of these would be food safety certification, bakery site inspection, and professional baker certification. • Having these is worth all the time it takes to get them because having them not only protect you like I said earlier but also shows that you are knowledgeable in your trade. Basically makes you look very good compared to a bakery down the street that has no certifications at all.
  3. Awards! • When achieving your dream of owning your own

bakery you set goals for yourself that you would like to reach. It is natural to feel happiness when received awards for work you did. • Some awards you may get for keeping your bakery in tip top shape and maintaining business are ratings from your fellow customers, and awards from your county for several things. • A tip for this result would be to wow your customers from the moment they walk into the door until the moment they walk out!
