Waiting for the Bus

"Waiting for the Bus" follows a mailman waiting for the bus with a to-go box in his hand. As more people arrive at the bus stop, the mailman makes an attempt to befriend each individual to no avail, but eventually makes an unlikely connection at the end.

3. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU - EYE LEVEL Clearer look on his face; happy and fidgety.
4. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 AMERICAN - EYE LEVEL BUSINESSMAN on phone walks into frame and waits at the stop.
5. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 AMERICAN - EYE LEVEL He sets down his briefcase.
6. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 AMERICAN - EYE LEVEL MARVIN looks over at the BUSINESSMAN with an idea.
7. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED OTS - EYE LEVEL MARVIN offers the BUSINESSMAN the to- go box.
8. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU - LOW MARVIN waits expectantly for the BUSINESSMAN's response.
9. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU - LOW BUSINESSMAN waves his hand away at food, disgruntled.
10. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 AMERICAN - EYE LEVEL MARVIN slightly taken aback, shrugs it off and still in good spirits.
11. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 AMERICAN - EYE LEVEL GIRL with cat beanie walks towards the bus stop.
12. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 AMERICAN - EYE LEVEL MARVIN signals over to get her attention.
13. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 AMERICAN - EYE LEVEL He smiles at her and makes gesture to her beanie to compliment.
14. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU - EYE LEVEL GIRL cringes at MARVIN.
15. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU - EYE LEVEL She quickly looks away.
16. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED 50/50 - EYE LEVEL MARVIN recedes to himself, less excited than before.
17. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED PAN 50/50 - EYE LEVEL MARVIN looks over to a new person at the bus stop—a SKITTISH PERSON. He offers them the box once more.
18. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED CU OTS INSERT - LOW The PERSON freaks out,
19. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED CU OTS INSERT - LOW and raises their hand...
20. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED OTS INSERT - EYE LEVEL slapping the box out of MARVIN's hand and onto the floor.
21. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED OTS INSERT - EYE LEVEL MARVIN looks down, completely dispirited.
22. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CLOSE - HIGH HAT The box and its contents on the pavement in front of MARVIN’s shoes.
23. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU - LOW MARVIN looks down in despair.
24. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 FULL - EYE LEVEL PERSON makes gesture to apologize.
25. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 FULL - EYE LEVEL MARVIN makes a weak gesture that “it’s okay”.
26. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 FULL - EYE LEVEL He goes to clean up the box and what's been spilt.
27. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED - LOW MARVIN’s face as he picks up the box.
28. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED - LOW Suddenly, a puppy walks into frame.
29. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED - LOW He sits down in front of MARVIN.
30. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED - EYE LEVEL The puppy looks expectantly at MARVIN.
31. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED PED - EYE LEVEL Panicked, MARVIN stands up quickly and backs away.
32. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED - EYE LEVEL He looks over at PERSON who is holding the dog, frightened.
33. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU OTS - EYE LEVEL PERSON smiles apologetically at him.
34. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU OTS - EYE LEVEL They tilt their head, gesturing to hold the dog.
35. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 MED - EYE LEVEL MARVIN looks at PERSON hesitantly. They nod at him and he holds his hands out to receive the dog, who licks his face.
36. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 CU - EYE LEVEL MARVIN laughs as the dog licks his face.
37. EXT. BUS STOP - DAY Waiting for the Bus - Sc. 01 FULL - EYE LEVEL MARVIN has a fun conversation with everyone at the bus stop.
