2. <25% OF STEM WORKFORCE REASON 1 Between 2006-2014 the number of women graduating with a degree in CS actually declined 1 IN 7 DON’T WORK IN THAT FIELD REASON 2 Even when a woman manages to get a STEM degree they are less likely to work in that field INTEREST IN STEM DECLINES REASON 4 64% would consider STEM in school. Only 30% study at university. Only 3% of grads list tech career as 1st choice ONLY 27% CONSIDER CAREER IN STEM REASON 3 The STEM gender gap starts young. Only 27% of female students would consider a career in technology why a revolution? !2
