    regarding Paul’s 2nd letter to Corinth (review study helps for the New Testament) gives us insight into his character. ▸ 1 Cor 1:3-7 4:6-10, 17-18, 7:4-7 Read though Ch 1 what tribulations are mentioned? How have trials blessed your life? What have you learned from watching others go through a certain trial? *Refiners Fire* ▸ 2 Cor 2:5-11 We are blessed and bless others when we forgive. What is Paul’s counsel? Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) Woman taken in Adultery (John 8:1-11) What do we learn from these stories regarding forgiveness? Why is it vital to forgive?     have ever prayed to have a trial or affliction removed. In 2 Corinthians 8–13, they will find out how Paul responded when he prayed for this but his prayer was not answered in the way he expected. ▸ To encourage your class members to read the Epistle to the Ephesians, you could tell them that in this epistle they will learn how they can “stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).
