Cheyenne Heflin

Cheyenne Heflin is a two-time cancer survivor, disability advocate, and mental health counseling trainee. After being treated for pediatric cancer, she realized that there was nothing available to help her adjust to the social and emotional realities of being a cancer survivor. She has spent most of her adolescent and adult life advocating for increased mental health awareness for pediatric patients, including going to school to become a counselor herself. Now, she is sharing her story and professional experience in the hopes to continue bringing awareness and support to individuals going through difficult medical situations.
