Utilized HTML and CSS design templates to implement the splash page. Compiled online bootstrap resources and customized the template as per our website. (css bootstrap template) Background image Created navigation bar by adding attributes like class = “navbar-brand”. Added links to About, Home, Authors, Publishers, Books and Search pages in the navigation bar.

Their splash page is very attractive. The topic is interesting and unique. They have page specific search bars for each of their different categories. • What did we learn from their website? The importance of clean design to attract users, interest them, and efficiently convey information. • What can they do better? Adding pagination to the lists of instances. Also, adding a sort feature would help with these lists. • What puzzles us about their website? Links to models are not immediately obvious. Animations on splash page are engaging.
