Digital Transformation (Bits vs Atom)

Data is new Oil ⛽️⛽️
The 4th Industrial revolution majorly fusion of Bits & Atom technologies (Autonomous vehicle,3D Printing, Robotics, Drones) that will fundamentally alter the way we live, work & achieve technological #Singularity‼️

  1. •Our nuclear bases still use CD/Floppy disk. •Our new fighter

can’t even fly in the rain. •We wanted flying cars, we got 140 characters. •Instead of going to mars, we have invaded Middle East.  — Peter Thiel
  2. • Bits:Company which builds on bits & bytes (0s &

1s) as a fundamental building block. • Atoms: The smallest unit of matter. & The company which builds purely based on substances aka company having physical visible products.
  3. • Combined Bit & Atom:There is a 3rd group where

the most successful companies are coming up with products and services that really do combine the best of both worlds i.e. bits and atoms • Converting Atoms to Bits: Transforming the atoms to bits across the information superhighway.
  4. Data is new oil ⛽⛽ • Bits: Data/Software • Atoms:

Oil/Energy/Land • Valuvation: In general value of the tech companies increases over the time with the decrease in the cost of the product.
  5. • Bill Gates ?? Bits : Moore law!! Atoms: Power

of compounding!! Its easier to start the software companies than drug or refinery companies!!
  6. Two shades of the world?? ✔ The cost of printing

    and mailing
 papers continues to rise.
The cost of online news continues to drop. ✔ The cost of business travel in a jet,
 primary education, continues to grow
while the mobile phone gets cheaper
& more capable. ✔ The cost of Coca-Cola, pizza, Rolex watch,
Sunglass, medicine & medical treatment is rising
 but electronic gadgets, computer equipment
 getting down day by day.
  7. Tangible vs Intangible • Bits: Intangible assets which
 cannot

be touched. *Do not have a physical presence. Includes goodwill, brand recognition, copyrights, patents, trademarks and customer data • Atoms: Tangible assets are items of value that you can touch. * Having physical presence. include furniture, computers, buildings, and vehicles, land, Inventory, metals.
  8. Stagnation vs Singularity • Singularity: Point at which, when the

invention of artificial superintelligence (ASI) will surpass the computing power of the human brain, resulting in unfathomable changes to human civilization. While Mark Zuckerberg wants to help you share baby photos Musk wants to save the human race from accidental annihilation Electric cars, solar energy, rockets, Hyperloop their vivid portfolios (most of them are atoms)in musks baggage shows his zeal in the humanitarian welfare!!!!!!!
  9. Future The hardest problems are always ATOMS ⚛ — they exist in

reality (climate change, food production, pollution etc.). The bits are just tools to solve these problems. At the end of the day, bits without atoms are like
 Fire brigade without water ‼
