  1. Smartindia Premier League (SPL) The on-line game was created with

    an intention to promote the purpose of providing entertainment to viewers and to take a break from course work, to have an intellectually based healthy competition and also to give a different kind of learning experience to the students who enroll in the web portal of smartindia.net.in SPL RULES AND REGULATIONS
  2. Of the 2 playing members of a team, not more

    than one can be outstation player. (A) Players The following rules are applicable to SPL Master Franchisee and their counterparts There need to be a maximum of 3 players in a team from a Master Franchisee. There is no limit for the number of teams under a Master Franchisee ( number of representation is not limited ) Each team should have at least one player from the allotted area of the Master Franchisee. The number of outstation player in a team shall not exceed 2. 1 2 3 4 5
  3. (A1) Acquiring Players The Master Franchisee can acquire players from

    any one /all of the following Registration through ICT Centres. Registration through Advisor Groups. Registration through Master Franchisee. Buying domestic players. Signing uncapped players Through annual auction. 1 2 3 4 5 6
  4. Eligibility of Master Franchisee for SPL revenue share – Season

    1 1. Should have completed 100 units Enrollment (200 to 400 Students/General ) per Month 2. Should have completed 900 units Enrollment before 31st December, 2013 3. Should collect Advertisement from the designated area as per the directions from the functionaries. 4. Should have completed 5 groups in the designated area to start ICT centres. 5. Reporting and document filing should be followed as per the guidelines set. 6. To arrange and conduct District level selection for SPL in the designated area.
  5. 2. Advertisement fees - 20 % to the Master Franchisee

    who is collecting order, 20 % to the 64 Master Franchisees selected for Premier League, 10 % to the Management Functionaries (BDM to NC etc..), 10 % as prize money and 40 % to SPL. (B) Revenue Distribution All the revenue from the SPL series will be collected by a central pool, which will distribute it between League management and the Franchisee. At present and through the year of 2014, the distribution arrangement from 1. Enrollment Fees in smartindia.net.in - 32.5% for Franchisees, 28.5 % for Functionaries (BDM,ADM,DDM,RDM,NC etc..), 5 % for Prize Money and 34 % for SPL.

    Secondary → Rs.2 lakhs 3. Primary Level II→ Rs.1 lakhs 4. Primary Level I → Rs.50,000 (Rs.5.5 Lakhs) Categories
  8. Maximum Point Prediction in each Lap. The public will get

    Rs.1000 each for the correct predictions of scores in each Lap. 5 chances in a Game. Total 408 games and 2040 Laps. →(20.40 Lakhs) This Prize Money is strictly based on the revenue collected by advertisements and may vary as per the volume collected F - For Viewers Categories

  10. (C) General Rules (1) Smartindia Premier League (SPL) is intellectually

    based for having Entertainment and learning . (2) We offer cash prizes to winners to make it even more exciting. (3) Registration is completely free for students who have enrolled in smartindia.net.in (4) SPL competition consists of 4 categories: 1. Primary Level I 2. Primary Level II 3. Secondary Level 4. General
  11. (5) Healthy competition is the spirit of the game. (6)

    All modules are played in “Real Time”. (7) All modules have internal scoring, with the players earning points. These points are collected and shown on the scoreboard. So you can know how you are performing in comparison with the other players. (8) SPL reserves the Right to “Terminate” the membership of any member at anytime, if the rules are being violated. (9) Elimination Modules are District Level, Premier League, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals.
  12. Playing Rules 1. Duration of one game is 30 minutes.

    2. Each Game has been divided into 5 Laps. 3. Each Lap has 6 minutes of 240 seconds playing time and 120 seconds advertisement time 4. Participants should be present 30 minutes prior to the game schedule 5. The Competition is in an online quiz format where each question is followed by 4 choices 6. The correct answer has to be chosen and clicked by the participant for each question
  13. 7. For each correct answer 4 marks can be scored.

    8. For each wrong answer there will be 1 minus mark 9. In each Lap the winner will be the participant who has scored maximum Marks. 10. Winner in each Lap will be awarded 4 points. 11. Loser is not eligible for any point. 12. When a Tie occurs all participants are eligible for 1 point each.
  14. 13. A 5 Member Jury headed by a Match Referee

    will be the sole authority to conduct and Monitor the games and Jury’s decisions will be final and binding to all. 14. If any disputes arise the appellate authority would be the governing body of SPL. 15. The jurisdiction would be Thiruvananthapuram.

    to 299 points - 2 points c. 300 to 399 points - 3 points d. 400 points and above - 4 points. 13. Bonus Point In every Lap, Bonus points can be obtained as follows: 14. The total points that can be availed in a game is 40 (20 points from winning Laps and 20 points as maximum Bonus). The participant who scores Maximum points will be declared as Winner of that game.
  16. (D) Other Rules 3. A Master Franchisee /Smart school’s selection

    as sponsor is mandatory. (D1) Registration 1. Registration starts on 8th May 2013 and ends on 8th August 2013 (midnight 12) 2. Registration for 4 categories are available a. Primary Level I →up to 4th standard b. Primary Level II →5th to 7th standard c. Secondary Level →8th to 12th standard d. General - Professional League is for those who are above 18 years of age.
  17. 1. Only 16 teams will be selected for the Premier

    League, from a category. 2. Only one team will be selected for the Premier League from a district for a category. 3. District wise selection will be conducted as per the fixture. 4. For the district wise selection, SPL will not provide playing facilities (Computer, Net connection, Venue etc,,) 5. No second chance is available to the candidates if they fail to participate. I. District Level Selection of Primary Level-I / Primary Level -II / Secondary Level /General Level (D2) Elimination Rounds
  18. 6. The Preliminary Game to select the District representing Team

    from each category will be conducted in the month of September 2013, as per the schedule which will be Notified earlier. 7. The duration of the Game is 30 minutes and the Winner will be the participant with maximum Points. 8. The maximum point that can be attained in a Game of 5 Laps is 40. 9. If a Tie occurs, the total marks scored in that Game will be the criteria for selection . 10. If a Tie occurs even in the Total marks, the number of Questions answered will be the selection criteria. 11. If the Tie still holds the Negative marks scored will be considered and the participant with less negative mark will be declared selected.
  19. 13. The total points that can be availed in a

    game is 40 (20 points from winning Laps and 20 points as maximum Bonus). The participant who scores Maximum points will be declared as Winner of that game. 12. Bonus Point In every Lap, Bonus points can be obtained as follows: a. 100 to 199 points - 1 point b. 200 to 299 points - 2 points c. 300 to 399 points - 3 points d. 400 points and above - 4 points.
  20. (A) Primary level I/Primary level II/Secondary level II Premier League

    1. The 16 teams in each Category will be divided into 2 groups - Group A and Group B. 2. Each group will have 8 teams. 3. Group level League competition will be held at Thiruvananthapuram during the period from September to December 2013 as per the schedule. 4. All the teams will get 7 games each (playing against each other) 5. 4 teams from each group will be selected to the knockout stage. 6. Each game will have 5 laps. 7. Each lap will have 240 seconds. 8. The team who scored Maximum points in each lap will get prizes. 9. For each lap, the winning team will get 4 points. Total 40 points (including Bonus) per Game.
  21. (12) If a team scores more than 500 points in

    a particular Game, the team will get 4 bonus points (10) If the game ends in a tie , the scoring points will be counted to announce the winner. (11) If a team scores century in a particular lap the team will get one point as bonus.
  22. (4) Conditions 6 to 12 of Primary/Secondary level is applicable

    here also (B) General (Professional League) (1) The 16 teams selected for the premier League, will have to play 30 games in 30 rounds. Every team will have to play with each other in a round –robin system. (2) The teams will get 2 chances to play against each other. (3) All the games will be held at Trivandrum.
  23. 1. Quarter Finals will be held in Trivandrum. 2. All

    competition will be conducted on knockout basis, as per the fixture. 3. 4 teams will be selected to the semi finals from each category. III Quarter Finals
  24. V. Finals 1. The Knockout Final will be played during

    the months of November- December 2013 at Trivandrum. 2. Best of 3 games format is chosen for the final. 3. One team from one category will be selected as winner.
  25. SPL (Smartindia Premier League) is a professional League for online

    quiz in the web portal of smartindia.net.in. Sri.B.S.Chandramohan, Director Smartindia will be the Executive Director of Smartindia Premier League (SPL). (E) Management
