19. Rails can scale. The database is usually the limiting factor.
20. Microservices are dead. The monolith lives on (even if you have 2,000 engineers).
21. Hotwire is insanely popular. React is absolutely not.
22. Turbo Native is being used a lot in the wild.
23. Most people are sticking to ERB and HTML, rather than ViewComponents or Phlex.
24. Lots of people are excited about Elixir, but almost nobody is planning to abandon Ruby or Rails.
25. The Ruby community is very diverse. If our teams are predominantly white and male, that’s our fault.
26. Open source is not sustainable without sponsorship. (can we do more here?)
