  1. Faking it. How to improve test accuracy and simplify testing

    external services.

  2. What is a Fake?

  3. A Fake is an embedded Sinatra application that runs during

    a test.

  4. The test itself is unaware that it’s running against a

    Fake.

  5. The tests call these endpoints as if they were the

    “real” API.

  6. Eliminates need for mocking or stubbing API calls.
