An image of a green being (like Pluto) with a plus sign and then an image of a rock with googly eyes. PLUTO CU BEDROOM DOLLY AROUND/ ZOOM IN 50MM NA 4 "" PLUTO WS BEDROOM STATIC 35MM Composit 4B A rock with googly eyes oscillates over Pluto’s bed. ROCK CU BEDROOM STATIC 21MM Rig remove FEB 8TH SUNDAY 4C PLUTO (CONT’D) (condescendingly) To pair, first ensure both beings have strong positive feelings for each other. Then begin kinetic gesticulation. Pluto glares at the rock. PLUTO M BEDROOM STATIC 50MM Composit 4E Pluto tries faking a smile. He taps a button on a small machine and music begins playing. ROCK CU BEDROOM STATIC 80MM Wire remove FEB 11TH WED 4F Pluto starts dancing to the music, giving it everything, as if his effort will translate to success. PLUTO (CONT’D) (as he’s dancing) Next, both beings should be in close proximity. Once eye contact is established, beings should connect physically and pairing will begin. PLUTO (CONT’D) Please work this time. He forces a smile. Pluto and the rock faintly begin to glow when CRACK! ROCK, PLUTO CU BEDROOM DOLLY IN 80MM rig remove 4J A crack shatters through Pluto’s heart. He recoils in pain. PLUTO (CONT’D) AHH! PLUTO, ROCK WS BEDROOM STATIC 21MM Bluescreen 4K Pluto stumbles over to the window sill, hitting the music machine on the way and stopping the music. Suddenly, the door to Pluto’s room opens and in bursts a looming green body, head out of frame, silhouetted in the doorway. I’m working on it still. Pluto covers his cracked heart from Morble. PLUTO, MORBLE, ROCK 2 M/WS BEDROOM STATIC 50MM 6C MORBLE Pluto you need to pair!!! Oh heavens-- you know you don’t have time for this! Subtitles appear under the rock that sits next to her, PORBLE. They read: Pluto, you need to stop wasting time. Morble steps over to the book. She points to the page. MORBLE, ROCK 2, PLUTO M/WS BEDROOM PAN 35MM 6D MORBLE (CONT’D) I don’t know how else to tell you that if you do not pair by your 20th orbit-- The page in the book shows a green being bursting into a thousand pieces with the words “20th Orbit” over it. MORBLE CU BEDROOM ZOOM IN 80MM 6E PLUTO Well, maybe it’s.. this gray being. Maybe I need to try a different one. PLUTO, ROCK WS BEDROOM STATIC 50MM Mar 4 7A A large purple crater, the center so deep it fades into blackness. PLUTO WS CRATER STATIC 35MM

Pluto stands at the edge, looking around at any rocks that could possibly be the one. PLUTO WS CRATER STATIC/DOLLY RIGHT 21MM 7C The rock floats over to Pluto. ROCK 3 W/CU CRATER STATIC 35MM Mar 8 7B MORBLE Any catch your eye? She has appeared next to Pluto. Pluto snaps back and looks back at the rocks. Porble, who floats next to Morble, subtitles: I see a lot of good-lookers here. PLUTO Mmm-- that one. PLUTO, MORBLE, ROCK 2 M CRATER STATIC 50MM 7D Pluto holds it in his hands. He looks unsure, then takes a deep breath. PLUTO, ROCK 3 M CRATER DOLLY IN 50MM 7E PLUTO (CONT’D) Hi, I’m Pluto. PLUTO CU CRATER STATIC 85MM 7F The rock stares at him. Subtitles read: You’re cute. PLUTO (CONT’D) Maybe we’d be good together. He smiles, then looks at Morble and back to the rock. He closes his eyes and they both start to glow. ROCK 3 CU CRATER STATIC 85MM Mar 11 7G Then CRACK! Pluto falls to the ground. He holds his heart. PLUTO, MORBLE, ROCK 3, ROCK 2 WS CRATER STATIC 21MM 7H PLUTO (CONT’D) I JUST CAN’T DO THIS! Something’s wrong with me. He stares down into the bottomless crater. Another green being climbs up onto the other side of the crater. It’s the same one Pluto saw through his window.
