3. Introduction • Historiography - Study of historical writing • e.g., The American Civil War, Dietary Customs, Democracy in Pakistan, Industrialization, Fashion and Dress, The Cuban Revolution • “Vistoria” is a portuguese word for “Inspection” • Inspecting History Using Visualization 3
