    as a conference as the context where strangers search and talk each other for a purpose. It is used for facilitating interpersonal and goal-oriented interaction

    with identical goals •  Finding where they are located •  Adding to the list of people so that they can be tracked in the real time •  If the user does not want to be found he can put off his visible status
  4. Tasks The tasks evaluated: •  Task 1 You are a

    recruiter who is attending CHI 2013.You are having internship positions and is looking for students from IUPUI. •  Task 2 You are organizing IEEE conference on mobile application; you want to host an event in. Login and create an event. •  Task 3 You are a student. You would graduate soon and want a job. You are interested in Microsoft. You are attending CHI. Look in just talk that you can find if they are available in the conference. •  Task 4 Select how you can view all you have selected in a current session for talking to.
  5. Usability Testing Demographics •  Performed evaluation of the prototype using

    quantitative methods and qualitative methods. •  Four Participants, IT and HCI Professionals •  Experts in their fields Tests were conducted remotely. Qualitative feedback was received on phone.

  7. Qualitative Feedback Feedbacks from interviews: •  The numbers next to

    the labels are not clear. •  Visible status is confusing •  Semantics issues in the context •  Issues with sorting
  8. Qualitative Feedback Feedbacks from interviews: •  Graphics are not apt.

    •  There should be more options for visibility. •  Consistency in the interface, some of the interfaces allow multiple selections and some only allow single selections.
