  3. Our Purpose To allow users to access information that helps

one be knowledgeable of bands, concerts, and festivals in Austin, Texas.
  4. Critiques What did we do well? We were able to

work together to create a website that could possibly have a large outreach and improve the experience of seeing live music in Austin, Texas. Our group excelled in web design and at meeting time based goals. There is a constant line of communication open between all members of the team and we were able to all contribute in order to accomplish our goals.
  5. Critiques What did we learn? We learned how to use

a variety of tools to create a website. Many of us were unfamiliar with most of the process that goes into creating and hosting a website. We were able to learn web development through HTML, CSS, JavaScript. After more experience with Bootstrap, we were able to construct a website with a multitude of processes and pages. As far as hosting goes, we learned about getting domains from Namecheap and hosting websites on Github Pages, then migrating domain hosting from Github to Digital Ocean. We also learned the importance of communication and contribution that is necessary in order to ensure a quality finished product.
  6. Critiques What can we do better? We can use better

styling methods to align elements within the website. Many times, we struggled with element alignment due to the relative positioning attributes within Bootstrap. We also had a few issues with communication resulting in accidental changes or work being done differently than decided.
  7. Critiques What puzzles us? The amount of work that goes

into creating even a relatively simple website is astounding. Proper communication is such a vital part of collaborating on work such as this, and with bigger teams and larger projects, the amount of back and forth/communication must be incredible. Also, as one learns to develop web pages, it's surprising how much creativity is necessary in order to deliver an aesthetically pleasing and efficient web page.
  8. Critiques - Food is Life What did they do well?

The elements within the website are aligned well enough that they respond to browser size. A variety of cuisines are represented in the website. What did we learn? We learned that ingredients can be used across a variety of recipes that are in many different types of cuisines. cs329e-food.me
  9. Critiques - Food is Life What can they do better?

Perhaps to better appeal to users aesthetically, add a background to the pages and/or utilize Bootstrap to develop a more engaging and attractive front-end. What puzzles us? What motivated them to pick the ingredients and recipes that are currently on their website? How do the developers believe this site can effectively keep up with competitors? cs329e-food.me
