 FabLab@SAUL

In the last 12 months the School of Architecture at the University of Limerick has built a low-cost Fabrication Lab. All the machines have been assembled by architecture students coordinated by Javier Burón as part of the School of Architecture's elective programme. In this talk we will describe our experience and discuss how low-cost self-built fabrication technologies can change the way design is taught.
