I presented at drupal camp 2017, where i talked about adding to drupal codebase, i feel its a need for drupal developers to understand the goal of the community and how it can benefit them.

17. Report Issue • Go to module page • Click on open issue and click create • Specify what you are doing If you are reporting and want tp work on the issuee, you can assign it to yourself, this will notify other developers that you are working on it
