Moving Node.js Forward

Moving Node.js Forward

2015 has been an exciting year for Node.js. In 2014, Node.js was forked into io.js and now, in a true rare event in open source, both projects are back together again with the advent of the Node.js Foundation.

Exciting times, but now the real work begins. The technical steering committee (TSC) led by Rod Vagg has defined the process by which Node.js will deliver Long Term Support (LTS) to create the right balance between core developer progress and end user stability and consistency.
