2. what problem are you solving? Australian & NSW government frequently release high quality health-related information through various means. But I believe it’s difficult for the general public to be highly engaged with this information. Why? Friday, 30 November 12
3. i think it’s because.. Quality information is scattered through variety of sources in many different formats. It’s a big ask for an average Australian to visit these sites and digest the data meaningfully. Friday, 30 November 12
4. Through initiatives (such as Apps4NSW), many innovative ideas and apps are being developed. currently.. But I think information is still sparsely distributed (e.g. vertical silos of information). I want to add value by looking at the BIG PICTURE Friday, 30 November 12
5. what do you propose? NSWell is a portal for unifying Australian & NSW health-related information for the general public - it’s a HUGE task I know! Friday, 30 November 12
6. nswell mandate * Accessible via Web - anyone with a computer and Internet access * Uni-format - all information should be available on the Web (i.e. no downloading files, PDFs, CSVs or viewing in Excel) * Consistent - in its style, layout, language, structure for the best user experience Friday, 30 November 12
